A VBA-controlled batch process could open all the files in a folder and copy a style to each of them. Every method I know of to copy a style uses the Organizer and when I use the Organizer, it does not perform as it is supposed to, especially when it comes to overwriting a style's attruibutes.
I haven't been able to reproduce the problem you described initially. So I ask again: If you copy a style to the Normal template, which specific properties are not transferred to the template? Please give examples. Choose where you want to search below Search Search the Community. Specifically: In the Organizer style PS1 in the donor document shows specific parameters in the Description window. PS1 is copied to Normal.
Msg window asks if PS1 in Normal s'd be overwritten. Yes is clicked. Highlighting PS1 in Normal window, shows in Description window the parameters that were supposed to be overwritten. Also, clicking on Close File in any number of sequences does not alter the result. This thread is locked. You can follow the question or vote as helpful, but you cannot reply to this thread. Let me re-state the issue.
